Dr. Wermuth began her career at a walk-in clinic providing affordable surgical care before transitioning to emergency medicine, where she practiced for several years. Concerned by the rising cost of veterinary surgery and the financial burden it placed on families, she was inspired to help clients pursue the treatment their pets needed rather than face difficult decisions based solely on cost. She ultimately left emergency medicine to work with several local animal shelters and RADpets, where she continues to provide compassionate, accessible care with out the exorbitant price tag.
